From London
Take the M11 and at the Stansted Junction follow the A120 East, direction Colchester, by-passing Dunmow and Braintree, then follow the A131 towards Halstead and Sudbury. Drive straight through Halstead, and when you reach the church at the top of the hill in the town, keep straight on towards Sudbury.

From Halstead
As you leave Halstead on the Sudbury Road, watch out for the sign releasing you from the 30 mph speed limit. Exactly 1 mile from this sign, turn right at an un-signposted crossroads onto a single-track road. Bear left at the next fork and the entrance is on your right after 500 yards
From Sudbury
Take the A131 to Halstead. After about 4 to 5 miles and you have passed "Little India" on your right, take the next turn left, marked to Bures and Pebmarsh, by the black barn. After about one mile, on a sharp left hand curve (Byndes Corner) take a right turn signposted to Stanley Hall. The entrance is on your left after 500 yards.
