Taking Part

We rely heavily on volunteers to run Stanley Hall Opera.

Our wonderful friends and neighbours kindly already offer accommodation to our singers and musicians whilst they're rehearsing and performing but we always need Front of House helpers, Stewards, Porters, Stage Hands, and Car Parkers, particularly on performance nights.

We can't offer to pay people for their hard work, but we do re-imburse travel costs, offer basic dormitory accommodation at Stanley Hall for the week that they're with us, and free food and drink.

It's an amazing experience to see an entire production come together in little more than a week and helping to make it all possible offers the musically inclined, whether they're music or drama students or simply enthusiasts, a unique chance to spend time with and learn from some incredibly talented and professional performers.
