A delightfully tuneful early Verdi comedy written in 1840, just eight years after The Elixir of Love and very much in the tradition of Rossini and Donizetti, both of whose influences are immediately apparent. But within the piece, there are also fascinating glimpses of the later Verdi. more
The opera will be re-set by Director, Jeff Clarke more, with a new English libretto, designed by Elroy Ashmore more, and conducted by Oliver Gooch more.

Shakespeare's Much Ado about Nothing
